SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
Trained in SRJ Therapies Oral Placement Therapy
Level One Training
These therapists have attended the 2-day class entitled A Three-Part Treatment
Plan for Oral Motor Therapy, or have viewed the class on DVD. We are not listing
these therapists, as we have not observed their skills.
Level Two Training
These therapists have attended or viewed the class on DVD of the following 2-day
classes: Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach and Oral Motor Therapy: Assessment
and Program Plan Development. They have also viewed the 3-hour DVD entitled,
Assessment and Treatment of the Jaw. We are not listing these therapists, as
we have not observed their skills.
Level Three Training
These therapists have traveled to an SRJ Therapies-approved therapy clinic to receive
5 days of intensive education, including
observation of evaluations, program plan updates, and therapy sessions. Their
names and contact information are listed below.
Level Four Training
Option #1: General – These therapists have completed a minimum
of 5 days of “hands on” personalized training from a Level Six instructor
at an SRJ Therapies-approved therapy clinic. They have demonstrated proficiency
in working with clients of various diagnoses and skill levels who demonstrate
deficits in any or all of the following areas: tone, sensory, feeding, and oral
placement affecting feeding and speech. Their names and contact information
are listed below.
Option #2: Limited – These therapists have completed a minimum
of 3 days of “hands on” personalized training from a Level Six instructor
at an SRJ Therapies-approved therapy clinic. Their training has been limited
to a specific area of
specialization, which is listed in their contact information. They have demonstrated
proficiency in working with clients
of a single diagnosis who demonstrate deficits in the following areas: tone,
sensory, feeding, and oral placement affecting feeding and speech. Their names
and contact information are listed below.
Level Five Training
These therapists have demonstrated exceptional skills during a three-month paid
tenure at an approved SRJ Therapies clinic. Their names and contact information
are listed below.
Level Six Training
These therapists are qualified to train other therapists in the SRJ Therapies
approach to Oral Placement Feeding and Speech Therapy, run travel clinics, participate
in the Innovative Therapists International speakers bureau, or start an SRJ
Therapies approved therapy clinic.
